Commuters are set to face disruption this morning as some Metrolink services remain cancelled.
Three lines are still fully or partially suspended today after the fault hit the transport network last night.
Metrolink said the outage, which left thousands of football fans stranded at Old Trafford yesterday evening, was caused by an overhead line fault.
This morning, services on two lines are still fully cancelled.

The Altrincham line is fully suspended.
Passengers can use Metrolink Tickets on the 11, 23, 245, 255, 256 and 263 bus services, according to the TfGM website.
A limited bespoke bus service is also calling at all stops between Altrincham and Piccadilly Station.
The East Didsbury line also remains fully suspended.
Passengers can use Metrolink Tickets on the 23, 41, 42, 43, 50, 85, 86, 101, 103, 142 and 143 bus services.
Another limited bespoke bus service is also calling at all stops between East Didsbury and Victoria Station.
The Manchester Airport line remains partially suspended this morning between Sale Water Park and Victoria.
Services are still running between Northern Moor and Manchester Airport.
Passengers can use Metrolink Tickets on the 11, 41, 43, 101 and 103 commercial bus services.
A limited bespoke bus service is also calling at all stops between East Didsbury and Victoria Station.
A tweet posted by Metrolink at 5.30am this morning said: "Due to an overhead line fault, service changes remain in place.
"The Altrincham & East Didsbury Lines are suspended and the Airport Line is part suspended between Sale Water Park and Victoria.
"Bus ticket acceptance will be in place, updates to follow shortly."
