Six casualties have been reported after a "serious" three-vehicle crash near Lisburn on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision, at the junction of Old Ballynahinch Road and Saintfield Road, involved two cars and a lorry and was reported at 12.51pm.
Police, NI Fire and Rescue Service, and NI Ambulance Service attended the scene, where four casualties had self-rescued, while firefighters and NIAS assisted two further casualties from their vehicles.
One patient was taken to Ulster Hospital, while another was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children.
The incident was dealt with just after 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: "NIAS despatched four Emergency crews, a Rapid Response Paramedic and an Officer to the scene. The HEMS crew also attended by road given the proximity of their base to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Ulster Hospital by ambulance and another taken to Royal Victoria Hospital for sick children by Ambulance."
Three appliances from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.
In a statement, a spokesperson for NIFRS added: "Firefighters were called to a three-vehicle RTC involving two cars and a lorry. Four casualties had self-rescued before NIFRS arrived, and Firefighters and colleagues from NIAS assisted two further casualties from their vehicles.
"All casualties were then taken to hospital by NIAS. The incident was dealt with by 2.04pm."
Police Lisburn and Castlereagh said: "The Old Ballynahinch Road and Saintfield Road outside Lisburn is currently closed due to a road traffic collision. This is from the Saintfield Road roundabout to the Comber Road junction.
"Motorists are advised to take another route for their journey."
