Martinez lifts lid on players' private meeting after Newcastle loss
Lisandro Martinez has given an insight into what was discussed in a private meeting between Manchester United players following their weekend defeat by Newcastle.
United players held a private debrief in the changing rooms after the 2-0 loss at St. James' Park without the presence of Erik ten Hag or his coaching staff.

It certainly appeared to have the desired effect, as United responded with a deserved 1-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday night.
Speaking after the match, Martinez was quizzed on the private meeting and hinted at the topics that were discussed after their humbling defeat.
Ten Hag explains why Martial did not start vs Brentford
Anthony Martial did not start for Manchester United against Brentford as he is still not "game-fit", according to manager Erik ten Hag.
Martial made his first United appearance in 78 days as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle on Sunday and he was widely expected to replace Wout Weghorst up front against Brentford.
Weghorst was dropped after 19 successive starts but Ten Hag replaced him with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford moved to the centre forward role. Rashford scored the only goal of the game against Brentford and Martial emerged in the 70th minute.
