Manchester United centre-back Lisandro Martinez was full of praise for his teammates after Erik ten Hag's side secured a 1-0 victory over Leicester City on Thursday night.
Jadon Sancho scored the only goal of the game in the first-half, and United once again demonstrated their ability to see a game out and withstand late pressure from the opposition. The triumph over the Foxes was United's third win in a row, and their second clean sheet in successive matches. After a shaky start to the season — losing to Brighton and Brentford in their opening two matches — the defence has been much-improved.
