I have never been much of a foundation girl. While I fully acknowledge its value, have the utmost respect for its transformative powers, and relish binge-watching TikTokers transform their faces with the stuff, I have personally always loved the look and feel of real skin; its vitality, its texture, its glow. Even its irregularity and awkward bits.
So when it comes to my own face, tinted moisturisers have always been my go-to, not just for their ability to elegantly refine, but also for the ease and speed at which they may be applied. Lighter, sheer, less pigmented formulas also minimise the error for margin, which is surely a blessing whatever your circumstance or skin?
