Taylor Swift had to know that stepping into enemy territory in a stadium near Boston would result in some reaction from New England Patriots fans that wouldn’t exactly be favorable.
And if lip-readers are right, she did know.
Video of Swift and her dad Scott — who antagonized Pats fans with his Chiefs gear — was shown on the Gillette Stadium Jumbotron, and her reaction was to blow a kiss, shrug and turn to Brittany Mahomes to say … something.
What was it? Per videos and people reading her lips, it was: “I knew it was coming.”
Hey, that was much nicer than what she yelled at refs on Sunday!
That would be a reference to the sounds she might have heard, as we saw in other videos — of course Patriots fans booed her because she’s rooting on Travis Kelce and the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. No harm, no foul here:

I love that as she claims on her TIME interview that she is "mentally tough enough to take what comes with that [being Taylor]" the boos will never bother her again!pic.twitter.com/5HN3KhIUeY

This post has it right:
Look, I love Taylor but her fans need to relax over her getting booed. She was representing the opposing team. Sports fans boo their rivals and those supporting them. It’s not personal.
