It had been so long since the Detroit Lions won a division title, their last one came in the NFC Central in 1993.
That’s right, the Lions had never won an NFC North title … until Sunday.
Predictably, it wasn’t easy. They had to make their fourth interception of the Minnesota Vikings’ Nick Mullens late to seal the 30-24 victory.
The reason it was so thrilling could be attributed to Michael Badgley, who had a PAT blocked meaning the Lions only led by six.
Mullens found Justin Jefferson for a first down on the final drive. It was a third-and-27 play that on which elite wideout made an insane catch.
JUSTIN JEFFERSON ON 3RD AND 27. HIM.

However, it wasn’t enough as Mullens threw his fourth pick of the game, sealing the Vikings’doom.
