Lionel Messi wins at Best FIFA Football Awards as Mary Earps and Sarina Wiegman recognised

Lionel Messi Mary Earps Sarina Wiegman Erling Haaland Football Kylian Mbappe Manchester City

Lionel Messi was named men's player of the year at the Best FIFA Football Awards, as Sarina Wiegman and Mary Earps also enjoyed a successful night in London.

The ceremony recognises performances over a calendar year and it is the third time Messi has picked up the top award, having also won i in 2019 and 2022.
