Argentina's star forward, Lionel Messi, has been included in the list of nominees for the prestigious Ballon d'Or trophy in the men's category, as revealed by France Football magazine on Wednesday.

With seven Ballon d'Or titles to his name, Messi, currently playing for Inter Miami, notably guided Argentina to victory in the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, marking their first World Cup triumph since 1986.
