Uh-oh. The Legend of Zelda movie's director of photography might need the Ocarina of Time to undo a big mistake – after they accidentally leaked Link's look.
In now-deleted social media images from Gyula Pados (which you can see below, as the internet kept them from prosperity nano-seconds after they were posted), there is a fun Link to the Past-style memento for the camera department. More importantly for audiences, however, is a taste of how Link will look in the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie.

As you can see, Link's iconic green tunic is present and accounted for – as is the Hylian Shield and Master Sword.
What might catch your eye, though, is how Twilight Princess-coded this all feels, complete with cap, a darker green (compared to Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, anyway), and bracers.
But there is something slightly different about Link's sartorial choices here. Namely, he is rocking a cape – something that is rarely, if ever, a part of the Hero of Time's outfit.
Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have included Link, in a different design, rocking a cape, but this would be a little out of the ordinary for Hyrule's protector.
Intriguingly, the movie look is similar to scrapped Breath of the Wild character concept designs from way back when, suggesting director Wes Ball may have shaped Link's costume from documents in the Nintendo archives.
It's worth noting that this might not be a 1:1 reaction to how Link looks in The Legend of Zelda movie, but we imagine it's pretty close to what we'll see on screen in almost exactly a year's time.
The Legend of Zelda movie, hitting cinemas on May 7, 2027, stars Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda.
