Ethan Devine made a telling contribution at the end of last season to help Linfield secure a fourth league title in a row.
The north Belfast striker earned the tag of 'Super Sub' as he appeared from the bench to notch several vital goals in the Blues surge to the Gibson Cup.
This season maybe hasn't panned out how Devine would have hoped despite his scoring the winner against TNS in the Champions League first qualifying round.

But the big frontman is hoping he can make a telling contribution in this season's run-in after bagging a brace in the 5-0 thumping of Dungannon Swifts on Friday night.
"It was a good night for myself and the team," said Devine.
"It was great to get the two goals, I was looking for the hat-trick but I didn't think I had it in the legs."
Linfield find themselves playing catch-up this season as they try and reel in league leaders Larne.
Friday night's win at Stangmore Park coupled with Larne's goalless draw at Coleraine means the gap is now down to five points with five games to play and Devine says they are relishing the chase.
"It was important for us to get the win and put a bit of pressure on Larne," he said.
"They obviously had a difficult trip away to Coleraine and hopefully they can drop more points along the way.
"We know there's still a bit of a gap still between us, but we have to try and win every game we can to put that pressure on.
"We probably could have been in a better position at this stage of the season but we just have to take it as it comes and we'll keep hunting them down.
"Confidence is flying amongst everyone now, the changing room is in a good place and everything is coming together."
