Daniels told TNS's website: “I’m really happy to be here and get started. It’s a new challenge for me and I’m really looking forward to it.

"I always make sure I give everything, no matter what club I am at. That's important as a player.

"As a winger what I am good at and what got me the move, is what I had to get back to. And that's to excite and to create.

"I am best at creating and trying to get people off their seat and enjoy the game. And if I can chip in with a few goals and assists that will be good, too."

Daniels featured for Derry City before moving to Glenavon in 2017. He spent two years at Mourneview Park before earning a move to Shrewsbury Town where e played in EFL League One.

He made 50 appearances across League One, EFL Cup, and FA Cup fixtures during his stay at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.

TNS head coach Anthony Limbrick said: “We’ve been monitoring Josh for some time now and adding him to the squad is a real coup for The New Saints. He’s an exciting ball-carrying winger who can get you up the pitch, and he arrives with both European and English Football League experience.

“A good age and a good character, he’ll fit in very well here at Park Hall.”
