Linfield are eyeing up the return of former loan striker Eetu Vertainen, according to reports. The 23-year-old Finnish forward spent the second half of last season at Windsor Park from parent club St Johnstone.
Vertainen scored four goals in six Irish Premiership appearances for David Healy's Blues as they went on to win the title. And now Healy could be back for more.
It is being reported in Scotland that Linfield are eyeing up a second move for Vertainen, who has found his game time limited at St Johnstone. He has one year left on his contract at McDiarmid Park but could be heading back to Belfast.

Vertainen, previously of FC Ilves and HJK Helsinki, joined the Saints last September but has only made a handful of appearances for the club. Healy will be looking for some added firepower following the departure of Christy Manzinga.
He already has signed former Rangers man Chris McKee who spent the second half of last season on loan with the Blues. Ethan Devine is another emerging talent who blasted onto the Premiership scene last season.
