Line where train derailed to remain closed ‘for at least another 10 days’ as recovery operation begins

The railway between Lewes and Haywards Heath will remain closed for “at least another ten days” after a train derailment that seriously injured two passengers on Thursday.

The Southern Rail train, which had around 150 people on board, derailed near Lewes in East Sussex.
