A team of celebrated DJs have joined forces to bring Bristol an event that hopes to rejuvenate the city’s long-established house music scene post-Covid. Collide Day and Night Party at Dare To Club in Alfred Street, St Philips, has lined up some huge headliners, including Allister Whitehead and Will Clarke.
Whitehead is one of the UK’s most prolific house DJs with former residencies at Ministry of Sound and Gatecrasher. He has also enjoyed a successful production career working with some of the industry’s most famous players such as Robbie Williams, Martha Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia.
Whitehead is looking forward to returning to his old stomping ground in Bristol. He says he hopes to bring back the goosebumps of club nights and provide ravers with just the tonic they need after the pandemic.

He says: “It’s always a huge treat to play in Bristol. I’ve done many great nights there over the last 30 years and I’m very much looking forward to playing at ‘Collide’ on Easter Saturday at Dare To.”
Bristol boy Will Clarke is hailed as one of Britain’s most exciting new talents on the house and techno scene. Two years ago, his breakthrough track Big Booty burst onto the scene and was played in clubs around the globe.
A member of the prestigious Dirtybird flock with a plethora of chart-topping records under his belt, Clarke proves that Bristol is at the forefront of fresh, cutting-edge new music.
Collide is the innovation of 42-year-old Andrew Davies, a house DJ and producer bouncing back from lockdown. Andy has been a part of RUAR (Rise Up And Rave) for a long time and decided to join forces with other DJs to put on this very special event.
He said: “Collide promises to be pure sunshine light vibes. House superstar Allister Whitehead will set the scene for an epic party to then hand the reins to global Ibiza icon Jonathan Ulysses, who will be performing a very special sunset hour long session.
“The night kicks off from 10.30pm, running until the early hours. This will have a much more club feel, with the famous Will Clarke and tech house heavyweight Sorley performing some insane 90-minute sets to make this a party to remember.”
The event is on April 16, starting at 3pm, and it will also have several fully covered and heated outdoor spaces. There will also be street food and two fully licensed bars.
Throughout the day, two areas will be running with live DJs in each. The day party is 3pm-10pm, and the night party runs from 10.30pm-4.30am.
Day tickets are £10 plus booking fee and night tickets £12 plus booking. They are available separately or you can also buy one of the limited availability wrist banded full party tickets for just £18 plus booking fee from here.
