Line of Duty star Vicky McClure heads to fishing port for co-star's party

Line of Duty star Vicky McClure celebrated her former co-star's Thomas Turgoose 30th birthday in style on Friday night.

The actor was surprised by his family and friends in a special gathering at Docks Beers in Grimsby, reports the Grimsby Telegraph.

And there were some familiar faces in attendance.

His former co-star on This is England, Vicky McClure, was one of the many famous faces to bring joy and festivity to Thomas' birthday.

She was seen taking a photo with Docks Beers' Stuart Andrews.

The Line of Duty star was also joined by comedian Lloyd Griffith, who is also from Grimsby.

Lloyd took to his Instagram to show Thomas entering Docks Beers for his surprise birthday.

At the end of the night, and after a few beers had been consumed, Thomas and Lloyd could be seen dancing to the Spice Girls classic 'Who do you think you are?'

Thomas shot to fame in Shane Meadow's This is England (2006) as Shaun, a troubled 13-year-old boy who lives with his widowed mother and is frequently antagonised in school and around town.

He last appeared in Sky One's Intergalactic as Drew Bunchanon, a guard on Hemlock in the sci-fi created by Julie Gearey.

Vicky McClure also starred in the film as Frances Lorraine 'Lol' Jenkins.

She has recently starred in the ITV drama Trigger Point as Lana Washington.
