Scottish actor Martin Compston has given a disappointing update to Line of Duty fans.

It comes after rumours that a further series of the hit BBC series is in the pipeline - however this hasn't been confirmed.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Compston, who plays Detective Inspector Steve Arnott said: “Look, nothing’s changed.
