Linda Nolan has been seen leaving hospital in a wheelchair, just weeks after her 64th birthday.
The singer, who has sold more than 30 million records with her sisters in the hit band The Nolans, has incurable cancer in her hip and liver.
Linda was picked up from hospital in Preston, Lancs, by her sibling Maureen and was unsteady on her feet as she was helped into the car.
A family source said: “Linda has been prone to falls, but it’s a common side-effect of the chemotherapy she was on.
“She had a series of falls a couple of weeks ago, just after her birthday. The family are extremely worried now and are rallying round to support and care for her. Linda doesn’t feel safe in her home alone now. Everyone’s hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.”
Linda, whose sister Coleen is the Mirror’s much-loved agony aunt, was happy for us to publish these pictures in response to many messages of support she has had from fans.
She was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 but got the all-clear in 2006. In 2017, cancer returned in her hip and spread to her liver in 2020.
The singer has refused to let it slow her down, however. Last month, footage of Linda dancing to Nolans hits such as Attention to Me and Chemistry, appeared on TikTok as she celebrated her birthday in a Blackpool nightclub at 3am.
