A limited number of tickets for Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final between Limerick and Kilkenny have gone on sale to the general public.
Tickets for All-Ireland finals are usually in high demand and are distributed via the clubs of the participating counties. A small number of tickets are also given to each club throughout Ireland.
However, a number of tickets were released on Friday and are on sale via Ticketmaster.ie. Some tickets are available for the lower Hogan, upper and lower Davin stands as well as Hill 16 and the Nally Terraces.

Stand tickets are priced at €90 while Nally and Hill tickets are €50. It is likely that the remaining tickets will be snapped up by neutral hurling fans as Sunday’s decider brings together two of the very best teams in the country.
Limerick are the current champions and are bidding to lift the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the third successive season.
The last team to beat them in Championship hurling was Brian Cody’s Kilkenny with the Cats winning the 2019 semi-final by the narrowest of margins.
Kilkenny powered past Clare in the last four while Limerick defeated Galway by three points in their semi-final.
John Kiely’s men haven’t hit the heights of the previous two season and are set to be without star player Cian Lynch for Sunday’s final.
The two-time Hurler of the Year has suffered an ankle injury having only recently recovered from a serious hamstring injury and isn’t expected to start against Kilkenny.
