Limerick GAA have released a statement 'acknowledging the concerns' of supporters who were alarmed at the €150 pricing of a training top that was part of a fundraiser for a team holiday.
The fundraiser was launched yesterday was met with a very lukewarm response, with many labelling the county board as 'tone deaf' for charging such a high price at a time when the cost of living is going through the roof.
In the statement released by the county board, the reasons behind the high price are explained, as is the motivation behind funding a team holiday for the three-in-a row All Ireland Champions.
