Three men in their twenties were stabbed inside a car during an attack in Limehouse in the early hours of Wednesday, police have said.
A crime scene is in place at the east London location after the stabbing which happened around half past midnight in Salmon Lane.
Police are appealing after a group of men was said to approach the car with weapons.
The three were rushed to hospital but their injuries have now been said to be not life threatening or life changing.
The Metropolitan Police has said the incident was not gang related.
A spokesman added: "Police received a call at 12.32am on November 23 on Salmon Lane, after reports of a group of males attacking a vehicle and occupants with weapons.
“Upon attending the scene, officers have located three males with stab wounds, with their vehicle in situ against the roadside barriers.”
"All three males have been taken to Royal London Hospital, injuries have been deemed non-life threatening or changing.
“Currently there's no suggestion that this is gang related, a section 60 was considered, however when consulting the legal framework, wasn't deemed a proportionate response at this stage.”
As of 10.45am on Wednesday, the Met had not reported any arrests being made in connection.
The force is now appealing for any witnesses to contact the force, citing reference 154/23NOV22.
