Hollywood star Lily James has followed in the footsteps of Kate Moss by signing a new deal as the face of top beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury.
The actress, who recently starred as Pamela Anderson in Disney’s Pam & Tommy, has been snapped up for a new campaign.
The star is heading up their Magic Cream campaign, joining an illustrious list of fellow celebrity ambassadors including Moss, Phoebe Dynevor, Jourdann Dunn and Twiggy.
Lily said: “It’s a dream come true to be joining Charlotte Tilbury as her new beauty muse. Charlotte is a legendary makeup artist and I had so much fun shooting her Magic Cream campaign, and learning about the science behind the magic.”
She added: “Being on camera is a huge part of my job and I have to look and feel my best.”
Lily is in hot demand currently with a slew of movie projects lined up.
These include rom-com What's Love Got To Do With It? co-starring Shazad Latif and Emma Thompson
She is now in production on the indie drama Finalmente L’alba, co-starring Willem Dafoe, Rachel Sennott, and Joe Keery.
James, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for her role in Pam & Tommy, said last week how the part left her exhausted.
Lily said: “The hours are so long and you feel really burnt out….The difference from me to her was too extreme to go back and forth. So, I had to stay in this middle no man’s land of like Lily/Pamela most of the time. I would totally slip into her voice.
“Even when I went out for dinner and was ordering with the waitress or talking to my mom on the phone, I would be American. I think I’ve lost lots of jobs because I keep speaking like Pamela in any audition.”
