No shortage of Manchester United supporters ripped into Erik ten Hag's players after going 2-0 down right at the start of the second-half of their Europa League quarter-final second-leg against Sevilla in Spain on Thursday evening.
After David de Gea and Harry Maguire combined to gift-wrap Youssef En-Nesyri the opportunity to give the Spanish side an early lead, they doubled their advantage less than two minutes into the start of the second half. A corner delivery found the shoulder of defender Loic Bade and his effort looped up over De Gea and into the net.
Following a lifeless first half performance, Ten Hag made the decision to make a double substitution at half-time, introducing Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford from the substitutes bench. However, Bade's 47th-minute effort meant the task became even harder.

United were second-best in the first half and were completely outplayed. United's supporters were already furious after De Gea and Maguire had combined to present Sevilla their opening goal, meaning the manner in which they conceded the second just added to their frustrations.
