Manchester United midfielder Casemiro expressed his delight at winning the Carabao Cup but insisted that Erik ten Hag's side will continue to keep working.
The Brazilian midfielder scored the opening goal for United in their 2-0 victory over Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium, with Marcus Rashford eventually credited with the second after Magpies defender Sven Botman deflected the ball in his own net. It was a smart header from Casemiro in the first half and the 31-year-old once again played the full 90 minutes.
Casemiro has been excellent for Ten Hag's side since joining from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, with the five-time Champions League winner having registered five goals and five assists in 33 appearances for the Reds. He has formed a good understanding with centre-backs Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane.

After the victory over the Magpies on Sunday, Casemiro insisted that it was vital to bring the winning feeling back to Old Trafford, while also claiming that he and his teammates would continue to work hard to improve as they target further success this season.
"It's about returning that winning feeling to the club, to get back to winning, it's very important for us," he said on Spanish radio. "Like I said, we keep going, with a lot of humility, with a lot of work, we keep winning because winning we know it takes a lot, it's a lot of work, but with tranquillity."
During the game on Sunday afternoon, the goalscorer celebrated right in front of the United fans after shielding the ball out of play for a goal-kick. It was another passionate display from the Brazil international, and the midfield ace has explained exactly why he celebrated a tackle.
Asked if it was because it's been so long since United last won a trophy, Casemiro replied: "No. Anyone who knows me knows that I go for a ball like it's a plate of dinner. That's my profile. It's not that it's a final, even if it was a normal Premier League game, the whole world knows I go for it like it's the only ball."
Casemiro is likely to start for United in their FA Cup fifth round clash with West Ham United on Wednesday night. The Reds still have the chance to win three more trophies this term.
