Stolen vehicles torched, residents gripped in fear at Macgregor

A Macgregor neighbourhood is gripped in fear after alleged thieves turned an isolated parking area next to a popular children's oval into a dumping and burning ground for stolen vehicles.

Within two weeks in September, two cars were torched, leaving terrified residents waking up to loud explosions and massive fireballs. A car set ablaze last Sunday was the latest incident in what locals describe as an ongoing nightmare.
