The pub where Elle Edwards was shot dead, and four men were injured, has given an update on when they will reopen.
Elle Edwards was enjoying a night out with friends and her sister on Christmas Eve, when she was shot in the head in the Lighthouse pub, in Wallasey Village. Police have confirmed the 26-year-old beautician was not believed to have been the intended target of the shooting, during which four men were also injured.
Those injured included a 28-year-old man from Beechwood, Wirral, who is no longer in a critical condition but is continuing to receive medical treatment. A 22-year-old man also suffered an injury to his legs, a 24-year-old man sustained an injury to his hand and a 33-year-old man suffered an injury to his wrist.

Police confirmed a 30-year-old man from Tranmere was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Both of the suspects remain in custody and are being questioned by officers. The police cordon in Wallasey Village remains in place outside The Lighthouse pub and over the main carriageway.
The pub took to its Facebook page to update customers on when it would be reopening.
The team said: "We would like to send our deepest condolences to Elle’s family, our thoughts and support are with them during this incredibly difficult time. We remain closed whilst the police continue with their investigation and we will remain closed until further notice out of respect to the families involved and as we continue to support our team.
"We would like to thank our customers for their ongoing support during this difficult time. Take care everyone and please look after each other. The team at The Lighthouse."
A sea of tributes have been left by family, friends, and people who live in Wallasey outside of The Lighthouse Pub in memory of the beautician.
The Holistic Hub also updated their customers on Facebook to say they will be allowed to re-open tomorrow but they will have to arrive on foot.
The business said: "As Wallasey Village slowly re-opens following the Christmas break & the horrific events that have occurred, please be aware that whilst the extensive police investigation is still underway, the crime scene cordon remains in place. I have spoken with the police today and we are allowed to re-open tomorrow, however the Hub is only accessible via foot as there is still no vehicle throughway or parking on the section of road immediately outside the Hub & the Lighthouse.
"Our heartfelt condolences are with Elle’s family & friends at this extremely sad time and thoughts also with Tina & staff at the Lighthouse. Wallasey Village & it’s amazing community stand with you, mindless acts of violence have no place in our lovely Village. Mel x"
Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said: "We are absolutely committed to finding those responsible for the callous and cold-blooded murder of 26-year-old Elle on Christmas Eve and our hearts go out to Elle’s family and friends. Elle was doing what any member of the community should be able to do on Christmas Eve – simply enjoying herself with friends and her sister and celebrating the festivities.
"Detectives are continuing their investigations and they will be relentless in their work to establish what led up to the incident on Christmas Eve and who was responsible for this sickening and heart-breaking incident, which has ruined so many lives and culminated in the loss of a beautiful young woman.
"The use of firearms, violence and intimidation has no place in our communities, and sadly we often see firearms being used to resolve petty and pathetic issues. These people are cowards, who think the only way to resolve an argument is through violence, they don’t have the strength or resolve to work things out and stop things from reaching such an ugly and devastating conclusion.
"Anyone involved in arranging this shooting, pulling the trigger and supplying the gun deserves to see every Christmas from behind bars. “We are pursuing a number of positive lines of enquiry in relation to the murder, but the more information we have to build the picture of what happened on the night the better.
"I would like to reiterate our previous appeals for any dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage from anyone who lives, works or was in the area of Wallasey Village on the night of Christmas Eve to come forward. If you saw, heard, have any images or videos or know anything, tell us directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers.”
