NSW pilot in critical condition after light plane crash

Rescuers pulled the pilot from the single-engine plane after it crashed at Bankstown Airport. (PR HANDOUT IMAGE PHOTO) (AAP)

A pilot is in a critical condition after his light plane crashed at an airport in Sydney's southwest.

The single-engine, four-seater aircraft came down at Bankstown Airport about 3.40pm on Friday, Fire and Rescue NSW said.
