A radio DJ was rescued by an RNLI lifeboat crew from the River Thames after he jumped in the water to save a drowning dog.
On December 13, Capital FM presenter Jordan North, known for his appearances on "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here," was jogging along the river in England when he noticed a Labrador in distress.
Without hesitation, he waded into the water to save the dog but soon found himself struggling against the river's strong current, according to BBC.
Passersby called emergency services and used phone torches to guide the RNLI crew to his location.
The RNLI Chiswick lifeboat team, already conducting a training exercise nearby, reached North within three minutes of receiving the alert.
They found him sitting on a floating platform with the rescued dog. North was cold and visibly shaken but otherwise unharmed.
He later expressed his gratitude on his breakfast show, calling the RNLI "the real heroes."
The Labrador, identified as Creed, was safely reunited with its owners, two women in their 30s, who left the scene shortly after.
Jordan North returned to his home after being checked over by the RNLI crew.
