'Life is too short': Newcastle University student's moving words written before she died of cancer aged 19

Moving words written by a Newcastle University student before she died have been recited in a film about her life.

Lulu Blundell died on New Year's Day 2023, aged 19, after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in April 2022.

She had previously been told she was cancer-free after being diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma at the aged of 15, which is a rare form of cancer that affects the bones, or the tissue around the bones. The brave teen had undergone eight months of intense chemotherapy 24 hours a day, for seven days every fortnight, as well as having her leg amputated.
