Liel Abada leaves Celtic daft Lewis Capaldi cheesing as he shares meetup with pop sensation

Pop sensation Lewis Capaldi has never hidden his Celtic allegiances and he couldn't hide the grin on his face either after bumping into Liel Abada.

The Israeli winger is on his way back to Glasgow after withdrawing from the Israel squad with injury and reports in his homeland suggest he could be out for two weeks. He'll be assessed by Celtic for their upcoming clashes with Ross County, Rangers and Kilmarnock, but in the meantime he's been on social media sharing his mutual respect for one of the country's most famous musicians.

In a meetup that appears to be at an airport, he shared a snap of the two on his Instagram story captioned "The best! It was nice to meet you @lewiscapaldi." And while the snap is yet to be reciprocated on Capaldi's socials, judging by the grin on his face, he's just as happy to bump into one of his Parkhead heroes.

Capaldi has made no secret of being a major Celtic fan in the past. At the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy in 2020, he was asked which football team he supports and proudly declared: "Celtic football club, Glasgow's green and white! Know what I mean?"
