The Easter bank holiday weekend is less than one week away, meaning many shoppers might be heading to the supermarket to stock up on some essentials.
To help make sure that you are not missing out on any bargains this year, budget supermarket chain Lidl has revealed its Easter 2023 opening hours and when the quietest time to shop is.
Let's face it, pretty much all of us love heading to Lidl for a bargain - including to the famed 'Middle of Lidl' - and the supermarket has revealed how to plan ahead and not miss out.
According to Easter shopping data last year, the quietest times to shop at Lidl were in the morning between 8am and 10am, and from 6pm onwards.
The Easter Saturday was the busiest day for shoppers during the holiday last year, with stores seeing the highest footfalls between 10am-1pm, before getting quieter in the afternoon.
It comes just as the supermarket chain, which welcomed one million new customers last year, predicts another busy Easter weekend, as shoppers look to save money on their essentials.
And it looks like shoppers are already starting to gear up for the bank holiday which will take place from Friday, April 7 - Monday, April 10, as the supermarket has already recorded an 11% increase on popular Easter treats compared to last year.
To help make sure that you don't get caught out this year, the supermarket has also confirmed its opening hours for the Easter 2023 bank holiday weekend.
While many supermarkets and retailers change their hours or close their doors during the bank holiday, Lidl has revealed that stores across Scotland will remain open as normal - so you have plenty of time to get your bargains for the big day.
Most Lidl stores across the country will be open from 8am-10pm on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. Hours on Easter Sunday tend to be from 8am-9pm.
However, like many other supermarkets, hours can vary depending on where your local store is based, so it is worth using the store finder to find your local opening times.
