Shoppers are being urged to check their cupboards for a variety of food products that have been pulled from store shelves following health and safety concerns.
Numerous major UK supermarkets, such as Asda, Lidl and Sainsbury's, have recently had to issue "do not eat" warnings on product including chocolate, cheese, ready meals and popcorn, reports the Mirror.
The recalls were issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) for a number of reasons, including the presence of plastic, salmonella and unlabelled ingredients, all of which could be harmful if consumed.
