LIC Q1 Results: Profit rises 23% YoY to Rs 13,492 crore, NPI up 7%

India's leading insurer Life Insurance Corp (LIC) on Thursday reported a 23% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 13,492 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 10,986 crore a year ago.

Net premium income in the reporting period increased 7% YoY to Rs 1.27 lakh crore.
