Trent shares rallied 13% on Tuesday after a strong Q2 business update, lifting LIC’s stake value in the Zudio parent by more than Rs 531 crore in a single session.

Trent shares surged to an intraday high of Rs 2,909 apiece on NSE, with the stock on track to record the sharpest single-day surge since February 2024. The sharp gains added more than Rs 17,540 crore to the market capitalisation of the Tata Group’s retail arm.
