Pete Doherty has announced his first solo acoustic tour of the UK in almost a decade – and the Libertines frontman will be coming to Bristol.
The long-anticipated tour will begin in April and will feature songs from The Libertines, Babyshambles and Doherty’s solo projects.
He will play at Bristol's O2 Academy on April 29, with tickets going on sale this Friday.

A statement for the show reads: “Peter promises to take audiences on an unforgettable ride into his strange and fascinating world where nothing is as it seems and life itself is an intense euphoric dream. Friends and special guests are expected to join him on occasion across these seventeen dates.
"Peter will be performing a selection of nuggets from his back catalogue, including classics from The Libertines, Babyshambles and not forgetting all of his delicious solo projects and records."
Doherty last performed in our city in 2017 when he was failed by a poor Bristol crowd, according to our reviewer Craig Jones.
The Libertines are currently working on a new album, with Carl Barât saying that it will have a “different energy” to their past work.
You can buy tickets for Dogerty's solo gig here from 10am on Friday.
