Liam Sutcliffe delivers message as Leeds Rhinos prepare for crucial Wakefield Trinity clash

Liam Sutcliffe insists Leeds Rhinos will come good despite their start to the season.

Ahead of their trip to Wakefield Trinity on Thursday, the Rhinos have suffered three defeats to start their campaign which has seen the pressure crank up on Richard Agar's well-backed side.

With Wakefield also winless. both teams are in need of a win though Leeds are also in need of a good performance after two disappointing displays in defeats to Catalans and Wigan.

That has left some fans questioning the side but Sutcliffe insists now isn't the time to panic.

"We know we're good enough and when that comes off and sticks we'll score some points.

"No panic, obviously it's not ideal but we're a good group this year and confident of achieving something special, and we know once things click and we get stuff right we'll get on a good run.

"Obviously, it's massive that we get a win, it's not the best going into the changing room after a defeat so we do want to get a win and a buzz around the place, but we know we're good enough and when the time comes that we put some good performances together, we'll get on a run.

"Like I say, it's not ideal, but we're confident in what we can get to and that at some point we'll get it right and look good. It's just a matter of time, we'll get a win and go on a run after that."
