Johnny Kenny briefly had Liam Scales doubting his Celtic knowledge as the pair took part in a St Patrick's Day quiz.
But it was the more experienced of the Irish Parkhead duo who won out in the end despite briefly sweating it over a Martin O'Neill poser.
The duo were both recruited my Ange Postecoglou this season with Scales coming in from Shamrock Rovers in the summer while Kenny arrived from Sligo in January.
And they were put to the test on the Celtic YouTube channel as they were grilled on their knowledge of the club as well as Irish history.
They couldn't be separated for eight questions before they were asked which Irish manager won the Treble with Celtic back in 2000/01.
Most fans don't need to think twice over that one but Kenny briefly had Scales in a cold sweat.
After sneaking a peak at his compatriot's whiteboard as he scribbled down the answer, Kenny laughed: "It's not him!"
A defiant Scales insisted it had to be and the answer was of course Martin O'Neill - which both players got correct.
But Scales' panicked stare at his teammate suggested there was some doubt in there and he breathed a sigh of relief when the answer was revealed.
However the following question was the decider and 18-year-old Kenny's inexperience shone through.
When asked what the Irish currency before they joined the Euro was, Scales remarked with a smile: "this was before you were born, was it?"
And that proved the deciding factor as Scales correctly answered "punt" while an oblivious Kenny answered "pound."
