Aberdeen could be forced to play a waiting game in their pursuit of Liam Scales, according to a report.

Jim Goodwin has expressed his interest in signing the Celtic man but a move may have to wait until the Hoops welcome players back from injury.

The Pittodrie boss has already added Albania international Ylber Ramadani in a £100,000 deal from MTK Budapest.
