Liam Neeson has been confirmed as the first guest for next week's RTE Late Late Show on St Patrick's Day.
The show is set to take place on Friday March 17 which is also St Patrick's Day, with the Taken and Love Actually star will take to the sofa to chat to Ryan Tubridy about his career, which spans an impressive 100 movies. In a statement, a spokesman for RTE said: "Liam Neeson is confirmed to join host Ryan Tubridy on next week's Late Late Show St Patrick's Day special."
This year, the Late Late Show will air during its usual time of 9.30pm on Friday March 17. Last year, Stepbrothers star John C Reilly who was also the grand marshal at the Dublin parade, captivate audiences at home with a rendition of Patrick Kavanagh’s ‘Raglan Road’.

Meanwhile, Irish Olympic boxing gold medallist Kelly Harrington also wowed viewers last year with her emotional rendition of ‘Grace’.
Liam Neeson's new film Marlowe will premiere on Sky Cinema on March 17 and will also be available to stream on NOW. The movie stars the Taken actor alongside Diane Kruger and Jessica Lange, and it is adapted from the book The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville.
Set in 1930s Hollywood, Neeson stars as private detective Phillip Marlowe, who is hired to track down the ex-lover of a wealthy heiress (Diane Kruger). The full line-up for The Late Late show on St Patrick's Day will be revealed in the coming days.
