Liam Neeson has slammed "little leprechaun" Conor McGregor for "giving Ireland a bad name" in an explosive interview.
The acting superstar - of Star Wars, Taken and Schindler's List fame - was speaking about the UFC when the incendiary comments about McGregor came out. Liam is not a fan of the UFC either, which he compared to a "bar fight".
He told Men's Health: "UFC I can’t stand. That to me is like a bar fight.

"I know the practitioners are like, ‘no, you’re wrong—the months of training we do ...’ Why don’t you just grab a beer bottle and hit the other guy over the head? That’s the next stage of the UFC.
"I hate it. ... That little leprechaun Conor McGregor, he gives Ireland a bad name. I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that. But I can’t take it."
Recently, McGregor was hit by a car on a Dublin road while he was out on a cycle. The MMA star said he was lucky to escape from the collision with only minor injuries.
