Former Hibs star Liam Henderson didn't hold back in saying what he thought of Chelsea transfer target Dusan Vlahovic.
The Juventus forward, who is reportedly the subject of a bumper €80million (£70m) bid from the Stamford Bridge side, went toe-to-toe with Henderson's Empoli as the Old Lady fell to a surprising 4-1 defeat on Monday night. The Scot, who made the switch to the Serie A side after making more than 30 appearances for Lecce, threw a brutal barb in the face of the Serb during the game.
The ex-Celtic and Hibs midfielder appeared to fend off Vlahovic's protests with a taunt by saying 'Ohhh 80 million? Ohhh’ while the forward covered his mouth in what was no doubt a stern response.
The clip, shared on social media, had Empoli fans singing his praises as he came on with 12 minutes to play and guided the side to a historic win. Vlahovic has reported interest from Chelsea after netting 23 goals in 62 games since joining the Turin outfit in 2022, with Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid also said to be keeping an eye on the forward. Henderson, meanwhile has featured 24 times for Empoli and has one assist to his name this campaign as they sit mid table.
