Liam Gallagher debuted a new look on social media this morning which prompted his fans to do a double take.
The singer-songwriter, 49, looked unrecognisable as he showed off his newly-dyed platinum blond locks in a selfie he posted on Instagram, in which the musician was seen smiling up close to the camera.
The Oasis alum appeared to be sporting a much lighter hair colour and more peppered facial hair in the photo, with him writing in the caption that accompanied the selfie: "Ey blondie."
And whilst it attracted praise from fans, some admitted they had mistaken Liam for the likes of actor Owen Wilson, 53, and singer Tim Burgess, 55, in the snap.
The post has amassed more than 40,000 likes on the social media platform, with it having prompted hundreds of responses in the comments section since it was uploaded.
"Blonde suits you," said one fan, whilst others described him as "handsome," "stunning" and "brilliant" with his new look. Another person said: "Blonde hair looks amazing Liam".
Another said: "You look good with any hair colour. I liked your new hair." Sharing the sentiment, another said: "It suits you Liam." Whilst one fan wrote: "Looking f***in' awesome."

Some fans teased over the possibility of Liam turning grey, with one writing: "Are you getting grey? Blond is perfect to cover." Another said: "Looks more grey than blond."
Others suggested that he was unrecognisable with the new look, as comparisons to the likes of the Charlatans lead singer Tim were made by fans in the comments section.
"I thought it was [Tim] for a minute," responded one person, whilst another asked: "You joined the Charlatans?" One person said: "Thought that was Tim from Charlatans at first."
He was also compared to Robbie Williams, 48, with one fan saying Liam looked like the Take That singer did in the late 90s. "[Robbie] had highlights like this once," said another.
"Kurt Cobain?," responded another fan, with the sentiment seemingly shared by another who commented earlier: "Thought that was Kurt, but it's super cool Liam."
Alongside such comparisons, one person suggested he looked like Owen Wilson. They wrote: "Thought it was [Owen] for a min then." They included a laughing emoji.
