Gene Gallagher – the son of Oasis legend Liam Gallagher and All Saints star Nicole Appleton – is single again after splitting up with his long-term girlfriend.
The 20-year-old model had been linked to brown haired model Amelia since early 2020, but the romance is said to have run its course.
The celebrity offspring is now back on the market after the young pair decided to call time on their romance after roughly two years.
However, there may well have been a messy split involved as Gene has attempted to scrub any trace of Amelia out of his life – and online life’s history.
The Sun on Sunday reports: “Gene is single after splitting from his long-term girlfriend.
“The son of rocker Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton had been dating Amelia since early 2020, often posing for loved-up snaps on Instagram.
“But sources say they have now gone their separate ways, with Gene removing all traces of his former love from his social media account.”
Gene’s split comes just weeks after he appeared in court accused of committing an offence in a branch of Tesco in May 2019 – however, the case was dropped on the first day of trial.
Meanwhile, Gene’s famous father has signalled that, far from single life, he prefers to be in a partnership when it comes to making music.
The 49-year-old was in Oasis from 1991 until 2009 and then branched off into a new band called Beady Eye from 2009 until 2014.
He then tried his luck as a solo artist, releasing his debut album As You Were in 2017 – but it sounds like he is craving the old life of making music with others.
Liam told MOJO Magazine that being solo is "boring as f***, to be fair. I’d much rather be in a band, all bashing it out together. But as long as it sounds good that is all that matters."
He made the confession ahead of the release of his third solo album, C’Mon You Know, which is due to be unleashed later this month.
Elsewhere, the Oasis legend has been sharing personal health updates – revealing he has got a bad hip.
“My hips are f***ed... I’ve got arthritis bad,” he told Mojo. “I went to get it checked and my bones are mashed up.
“The lady was going, ‘you might need a hip replacement. It’s not as bad as you think, the recovery will be a couple of months’. You’re all right. I’d rather be in pain – which is ridiculous, obviously."
