Liam Gallagher and Jamie Carragher locked horns in a heated online spat after the Oasis star's beloved Manchester City beat Jamie's former club Liverpool to the Premier League title.
The outcome of this year's final standings went right down to the wire at both ends of the table on Sunday with Burnley and Leeds both hoping to escape relegation while Liverpool were just one point behind City in the race for the trophy at the top. And in classic Premier League style, there was plenty of drama on the final day.
Neither City or Liverpool got off to the start they hoped, and probably expected to make, as both went behind. And, after they levelled things up against Wolves, things got even better for Liverpool when their title rivals went 2-0 down at home to Aston Villa. However, with things on a knife edge, Pep Guardiola's men staged an epic comeback when it mattered most and ended up clinching the league with a 3-2 victory at the Etihad.
