Liam Cahill's sideline ban has been overturned as he can now manage Tipperary in the Munster hurling championship against Waterford on Sunday.
The Tipperary delegation traveled to Dublin to meet the hearings committee and were successful, which resulted in the proposed one-month Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) ban being overturned.
Cahill challenged a sideline decision during last Sunday's high-stakes game against Limerick and was given a suspension.

Had Tipperary won the game, Cahill would have missed this Sunday's match against Waterford as well as the Munster final against Clare the following week.
The CHC released a statement, declaring the CCCC “took disciplinary action” against Cahill for “abusive language towards a linesman."
“An Lár Choiste Éisteachta (CHC) found the infraction not proven, and so no penalty is imposed,” the statement read.
“Having considered all the evidence provided and the submissions made on behalf of both parties, it was the decision of An Lár Choiste Éisteachta that the evidence presented by Liam Ó Cathail did contradict the referee’s report.”
Tipperary GAA said they “are delighted that senior hurling manager Liam Cahill has won his hearing against a four-week suspension."
As a result, the Ballingarry native is now free to manage Tipperary this weekend from the sidelines.
