Noel Gallagher has exchanged further blows with brother Liam, after the superstar musician claimed an Oasis reunion was 'happening'.
The Britpop Goliaths parted ways in 2009, after a heated confrontation between the two frontmen at Rock en Seine, France - and although unison has been brought up time and time again, it has never materialised.
The latest claims of the group reuniting came from Liam himself, after a fan asked him if there was a 'small percentage' of Oasis happening once more on Twitter.

To which, the 50-year-old replied: "It's happening."
And the news prompted a response from Noel, during a chat with France Inter - The Mirror reports.
In reference to the Tweet, Noel said: "There’s something in the papers back in England today," adding: "He should get his people to call my people; they know who they are, they know where we are. Stop talking on the f***ing internet, and let’s see what you’ve got to say.”
The statement prompted the interviewer to ask if a phone call would be enough to reignite the brothers' flame for music, to which he responded: "You would think, right? You would think. He’s got my number, he’s got my manager’s number, call us. But you know what? He won’t call."
But the feud didn't end, with Liam once more taking to social media in response to his big brother. He today Tweeted: "Here’s how I see it the little fella aka potato has done a lot of damage to Oasis as a band / brand he’s got a lot of making up to do not just to me but to you the fans the people that put us where we are tday as you were LG."
And while there have been rumours circulating for some time that Oasis may one day come back together, the relationship between Noel and Liam has shown no signs of mending. The pair haven't spoken directly with each other since the 2009 fallout, but Liam did offer his brother an olive branch on his 50th birthday.
Noel meanwhile has previously discussed the possibility of a reunion in the 2021 documentary, Out Of The Now. He said: "I don't have any problem reconciling with the past – Oasis was the greatest thing that's ever happened in my life to me, ever and ever will be.
"You're on stage in those mega, mega gigs that we did and seeing it and, you know, we started from a council estate in south Manchester. To get that big is the most incredible thing ever – the fact that group is embedded in people's heads is an amazing, amazing thing."
