June is Pride Month and in this month, members of the LGBTQ community celebrate it with parades, marches, dedications, remembrances and other events. It’s also a time to spotlight LGBTQ voices, including trailblazers like Harvey Milk, Marsha P. Johnson and other luminaries whose sacrifices and advocacy shaped the Pride movement.
Marsha P. Johnson, a pioneering activist in the LGBTQ+ rights movement and a central figure in the Stonewall uprising, remains one of the most powerful voices in the fight for equality. Her words continue to inspire conversations around inclusion, justice, and collective freedom.
