Another Pereira has entered the LFA pipeline.
Aline Pereira, sister of the next UFC middleweight title challenger Alex Pereira, has signed a multifight deal with the promotion, LFA announced Wednesday.
Pereira, 31, has yet to compete in MMA, but like her older brother enters the sport with a kickboxing resume. Her debut bout is scheduled for Nov. 18 vs. “TUF 30” cast member Helen Peralta (5-3) at LFA 147 in Sloan, Iowa. The bout will be contested at flyweight and streams on UFC Fight Pass.
From 2017-2021, Pereira competed eight times in professional kickboxing. She went 6-2, including a Glory super bantamweight championship title challenge loss against decorated striker Tiffany van Soest. Prior to her title shot, Pereira picked up Glory wins against Crystal Lawson and Chommanee Sor Taehiran.
