The 80-unit Malibu Manor Apartments in Lexington and another complex in Louisville will each receive three-quarters of a million dollars in federal Housing and Urban Development funds. HUD made the announcement Wednesday. According to a news release, the two grants are part of $18 million in grants and loans going to 28 low-income, multifamily properties around the country. The funds are part of the Biden Administration’s Green and Resilient Retrofit Program in last year’s Inflation Reduction Act. I’m John McGary, in Lexington.
