1. Alexis Noel “Lexi” Thompson was born February 10, 1995 in Coral Springs, Florida and still lives in the Sunshine State.
2. Thompson was home schooled for much of her early years.
3. In 2007, Lexi played in the US Women’s Open at 12-years-old. She held the record for youngest player to qualify for a US Open until 2014.
4. She won the 2008 US Girls' Junior Championship.
5. Thompson has two older brothers, Nicholas and Curtis. Nicholas has been a member of the PGA and Korn Ferry Tours and Curtis currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour after graduating from Louisiana State University.
6. Thompson went undefeated at the 2010 Curtis Cup, winning four matches and drawing one. A week later, she turned professional.
7. The American is a fan of ice hockey and supports the Florida Panthers.
8. In 2011, she won the Dubai Ladies Masters Championship on the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Classic. This made her the youngest winner in LET and LPGA Tour history at 16 years, 7 months and 8 days old.

16. She became the seventh woman in history to compete on the PGA Tour when she played in the 2023 Shriners Open. She missed the cut with an impressive score of level par, which was better than dozens of PGA Tour pros.
17. She infamously received a four stroke penalty during the final round of the 2017 ANA Inspiration (now known as Chevron Championship), finding out on the 12th hole while in the lead by three. She rallied back but eventually lost in a playoff to So Yeon Ryu.
18. She has 11 LPGA Tour victories, but is currently on a win drought stretching back to 2019.
19. She has won in that period, though, with her latest victory coming at the 2022 Aramco Team Series - New York on the Ladies European Tour.
20. Lexi won the 2017 Race to CME Globe on the LPGA Tour and the Vare Trophy, awarded for the lowest scoring average.

23. She has opted not to play in the Evian Championship (the fourth Major of the season) since 2021 after criticizing the course in a deleted post on social media after missing the cut in 2019.
24. Thompson announced in May 2024 that she would be retiring from playing professional golf full-time at the end of the year.
